Went down to Taylor Bridge yesterday after work and probably should of just stayed home. The front that came through was about ridiculous. Seen a few small males caught but i only hooked up with a few small largemouth. May not be up quite so far and the cold front probably didn't help.

Just got a call from Billy Bob that went to Steel Bridge this morning fishing with the old cow bell leaders 3 foot long with a nightcrawler on the hook and got 4 nice walleye's at the corner before the bridge. He said only a handful of whites were caught a they was small!

Yeah I figured that the cold front would do them in for a few days going Sat and possibly Sun I will let everyone know how we do think we are also going to hit a crappie hole or two I talked to a few locals that said most of the better whites are being caught just aways up river from Aldrich most are being caught on white 1/8 oz rooster tails

Caught a limit of good fish above Taylor before the storm hit. Had just got the boat out of the water when it started to hail. Even caught a walleye and saw several other walleye caught(no keepers0. So, they are there....just got to find them. All of mine came from one spot of slack water. Snakes are out too now so you guys walking the bank watch what you are stepping on!

we had a good day on monday around the steel bridge. all in all we had about 25 whites (all were females except 2) that me and a buddy brought home (we had 1 more stringer just about as full and I had already cleaned 1 fish when we remembered t take pictures. The water was really muddy but we found some clear tributaries holding fish. We were using swimming minnows in a smoke color in clear water where we could find it. caught quite a few smaller LM some in the 12" range, and had 3 fish break our line before we could land them and also lost probably 10 or 12 more because we didnt hook them well. All in all a good trip. I would say when the water clears up the fishing will be pretty good
