zander Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 The printer let me know yesterday that my prints are on a brown truck heading towards the Ozarks. I used a different printer for this painting than for the "trutta" print and they are the same printer that Bob White uses and I see why. The difference is amazing. Like the other print this will be a limited edition run of 150. The inks are archival quality as is the special paper it is printed on. They will be numbered and hand-signed. The image size is 6 3/4 inches wide by 17 inches high with 1 1/4 inch white border around it. The price is $50. If you are interested in getting one please respond to this thread, if you have a particular number that you want (keep in mind only ten are on their way at this time) let me know. They can be picked up at my house in Springfield or I can ship for a little extra charge. On the easel right now are some oils that I am doing with palette knives: a bluegill face and a big red crappie. Still collecting flies for the Trout Flies of the Ozarks project. bigredbirdfan Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Zander: Thanks for going the extra distance and meeting me this morning to deliver #1. A beautiful print. Can't express to those who haven't seen it in person how nice it is. Thanks, BRBF
FRENZEL Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 What printer did you use? I am also a wildlife artist and would really like to reproduce some of my work. I have never had any done but have had some interest lately. I do some of my work on different surfaces like leather.. Would that pose a problem with reproducing them? zander Posted March 30, 2009 Author Posted March 30, 2009 The printer I used is DigiGraphics out of Minneapolis. They can print on different kinds of paper and canvas, but I don't know about leather, I imagine it would be hard to get leather to feed through any printer.
FRENZEL Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 I was just wondering about them getting an image off of leather and printed onto paper. BTW I really like the size you used for a series. I'll have to check out your facebook TRACY FRENZEL FRENZELS GUIDE SERVICE 417-699-2277 "ONE MORE CAST"
