Members joefish Posted March 30, 2006 Members Posted March 30, 2006 Hello fellow fisherman. Im from nw mo north of K.C. I only get down your way a couple times a year but sure enjoy reading this board. I fish all the local lakes and rivers, mainly the Grand and Lake Viking, near my home. If I could get loose Id come down more often and explore the rivers down there. Keep up the chit chat, it might lure me down to your neck of the wood. riverrat Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Welcome Joefish. Join in on the chit chat. There are a lot of members from the Kansas City area on this forum. Your input would help both them and yourself. Who knows-you might just lure some of us up your way.
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 30, 2006 Posted March 30, 2006 Are you anywhere near Grundy county and Trenton? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members Stuartwp Posted March 31, 2006 Members Posted March 31, 2006 If you fish Lake Viking and the Grand River, then I am guessing you live somewhere in the Galatin area. I grew up in Milan running trap lines and waging war on farm ponds. Went to NWMSU too. I have fished the 102 River, Nodaway Lake, and Lake Paho in Princeton. Never did make it to the Grand ( or a whole lot of other places) but I have driven over it 100 times. It nice to Know there is somebody from my old stopping grounds here on the forum. Great fishing in those farm ponds in North Missouri. I sure hope you manage to get on a couple of those once in a while.
Members joefish Posted April 6, 2006 Author Members Posted April 6, 2006 I forgot to tell you I fish alot of farm ponds too. Caught a few crappie today as a matter of fact.
