My brother and I are planning a trip to the Kings river March 21st, and 22nd and I'm having trouble finding a place to stay. I would like to stay on the river or at least close as possible. Nothing fancy, dry and comfortable is good for us.

Eureka has many options, all minutes from the Kings River.

Might give Hickory Hollow a call 858-6606 it is on the river between Shell Knob and the state line, has boat ramp, dock, great fishing area. I hven't been there for 2 years, but was very clean and well ran. Good Luck!

If you want to stay on the river and go for smallies, then King's River Resort is the only place for you. They have cabins on the River. If you are lake fishing, then there are several options around the Shell Knob area. King's River Resort should be listed in Berryville and Eureka.
