Members ChipperT Posted March 16, 2009 Members Posted March 16, 2009 Fished Saturday out of Cedar Ridge. Water temp on the main lake when I arrived at 9:30 was 42-43 and 48 towards highpoint. Started off throwing a stick bait up in maze with nothing to show for it. Moved up towards Turkey creek and started catching fish on a wiggle wart right away. Caught 4 in a matter of 10 cast with three of them being solid keepers. After hitting that bank I thought it was going to be a great day. The bite slowed down in the afternoon and only ended up with 10 LM but 8 were keepers. Couldn't buy a jig fish all day to my amazement. Did get a few on a spinnerbait up towards the river. Warmest temp I found was 50-51 up near highpoint and main lake temp was 47 when I left at 6:45.

Members ChipperT Posted March 18, 2009 Author Members Posted March 18, 2009 Good report, what color water, any kb, thanks BFC - water was slightly stained at starting at Turkey Creek and more so from Highpoint to Aldrich. It's probably changed by now though. No kb
