Bman Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 I crossed over the Dam late morning and wow the area below the Dam was full of waders! Reminded me of Fall fishing crowds. I found good numbers of healthy rainbows full of fight. Started off right with two back to back 20 inchers! Both were on Adams bug, a midge created by Adam Gries of Anglers & Archery. I didn't hook any of the silver bullets tho (chinese acrobat fish) all of the 'bows were full of color like this handsome dude below. The only good line is a tight line
Greg Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Sounds like a great day. I was out yesterday afternoon/evening (Sun) and was also surprised by the crowds. It did thin out a lot by the end of the day. I did catch quite a few silver bullets. But my son and I each caught an approx 18" bow as well. Bman Posted March 17, 2009 Author Posted March 17, 2009 I envy you folks that live close to Taney, a four hour drive for me from High Ridge. I forgot to mention the awesome weather. I might check out the water down stream a bit tuesday, I brought my boat. The only good line is a tight line
DD'sMC Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 Beautiful bow there Bman. Thanks for posting. May the luck of the Irish be with you today! We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. The two best times to go fishing? When it is raining and when it is not.
