KCRIVERRAT Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 What's everyone think of the tournament so far? HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
rps Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 I never played basketball. I enjoy watching. I did look at the brackets and I see six Big 12 teams advanced to the final 32. I'm not sure who all is in the SEC. How many advanced to the round of 32? How many from what conferences?
drew03cmc Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Only one SEC team, LSU, has advanced. The Big 12 is the only conference that has won all their games. We are the most underrated conference in the nation, and MU will whoop Marquette! Andy
Don Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 What's everyone think of the tournament so far? I've really enjoyed it, especially the close games like Gonzaga and WKY last night. Low seeds like Cleveland State are exciting to watch. The scumbag moment of the tourney was watching Blake Griffen get bodyslammed to the hardwood. I have Louisville over Pitt fir the championship because of their momentum. I also have Memphis and NC in the final four. I backed off of NC to take it all because of Lawson's toe. Big 12 has good representation this year. I'm kind of leary taking them too far in the tourney because of some inconsistant play, especially road games. I do agree that sports media are coastally concentrated and never give much credit to Big 12. What's in your bracket? Don May I caught you a delicious bass.

We are the most underrated conference in the nation, and MU will whoop Marquette! The Big 12 could have six of the eight teams in the elite eight and all the finial four spots and Dickie V would still be talking up the Big East and The ACC. I'm tried of all these sports commentators ignoring the Big 12. The best basketball, football, baseball, and softball conference in the country is the Big 12. Enough with all the talk about the east and west coasts.

Carolina and UCONN also in the final four. Wake, Fl. St., and Illinois hurt me the first round. After seeing Memphis yesterday I think they might take UCONN's spot. Hope Mizzou gets by Marquette today. If they do they'd have to play perfect to beat Memphis. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS

KCRIVERRAT Posted March 23, 2009 Author Posted March 23, 2009 Marquette had 37 or 38 free throws. We had 13 or so. We overcame that, but give me a break. I watched the dang game! We were one of the least fouling teams in the nation this year. NCAA and the refs keep favoring the Big East and ACC. Memphis is gonna be tough though.
