Spring On The Spring

One river, one forum, IMO. Why subdivide. or put it in other waters? I think MSU is confused. To put these post with the MO/AR Spring river would be confusing and quite frankly, ridiculous. Probably just need to drop the (OK) designation at the end of topic title. Just my 2 cents.

Regardless of the State waters you were in, those are some dandy fish for Spring River! I almost recognized one of the big rocks in the background. High Five to Chief and Buzz.

Yep, confusion on my part there. Guess I should have googled Mammoth Springs for location.

Yikes! Don't think I deserved that. However, as I read the description of this forum I see..."These two rivers are tributaries of Grand Lake O' the Cherokees in OK. Its flow traverses part of SW MO, the corner of KS, and into OK where it receives spring runs of many species most notably White Bass and Hybrid Stripers." Whoopsie on me again.

Since my post/opinion/suggestion was not intended to get Chief all riled up, defensive, and on high blood pressure meds, to prevent ramblings like this in the future, I like this idea the best..."Probably just need to drop the (OK) designation at the end of topic title."

Yikes! Don't think I deserved that. However, as I read the description of this forum I see...

Ok I will concede this one. I based this the fact that at one time this was the Spring River (MO-OK) forum. I hadn't relized that it had changed. Things seem to change a lot around here. I also had posted previous trips on Spring River last year here.

We now return you to regularly scheduled posting.

Not sure when it was changed either. That's why all of the confusion. I didn't notice it either until I read the posts today. The Spring River is a long river that begins up near Monett, Mo and travels many miles until it hits Grand Lake making it's way through three states. We can use the "Other Ozark Waters" without any problem.
