Members billynwtf Posted March 23, 2009 Members Posted March 23, 2009 Started the day off fishing at Riverside near the falls. There was a fellow spin fishing in the hole so I had to fish up river from him. It was pretty slow for awhile started off with a snail fly catching a few. When the guy using spin equipment left I moved closer to the falls and started catching fish. The fish slowed alittle on the snail pattern so I switch to a olive bh wooly bugger#12 and ended up catching 17 fish in all. Nothing real big just average but one was close to 16 inches. The sun started to get high in the sky and the fish shut down so I drove to Lasseters. I had lunch and then entered the river. I started with a snail fly and fished hard and only caught one fish. Lots of people fishing and not catching so I moved to dam 3. I started off with a wooly bugger and started catching fish again. Nothing big just stockers in all I caught and released 27 fish all day. It was good to be on the river.
Terry Beeson Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Yep... any day on the Spring is a good day. Where did you do lunch? My step-daughter works at Riverbend.
