Crappie In The River

Does anyone know with the water temp in the low 50s arer the crappie starting to move up the Pomme river.

I have a couple of friends who slayed the crappie up the Pomme river on Sunday. However they quit biting about 10:00. The last two / three weeks I've really hammered the fish on the lake. They are in 12-18' of water 4-18' down. Jig color doesn't matter. Find standing timber or brush piles in the mouths of spawning coves. This rain and front will probably mess them up for a few days.

Thanks. The one thing I do now is thatb when they bite they bite, but it turns off real fast.
