I went over to miami this morning, and they are in the park by the dozens. I snagged from 10am to about 1:30 and caught 13. I coudn't handle anymore. I only caught 2 females biggest only 54Ibs. the rest were males. Alot of people were there.

As you can tell from this question, I'm not a snagger. Do you eat these spoonbill (or their eggs), or do you release them? Can you release a snagged fish, or is it a matter of ethics to keep the ones you snag? I don't have an opinion on this one way or the other (I promise it won't turn into a C&R debate), I'm just curious and ignorant when it comes to snagging, grabbing, noodling, or any method of fishing other than rod and reel/bow and arrow/spear.

I personally don't eat them. I know alot of people that do. I have heard a 101 ways to clean and cook them but none seem to satisfy me. You release as many fish as you want as long as you don't have one tied up. I just enjoy fishing for these monsters.
