Members jtfish Posted March 25, 2009 Members Posted March 25, 2009 Hi all! Glad to be part of this wonderful forum! The wife and I love to fish and when she's in the boat, its for Walleyes!! We're lookin to go to Bull Shoals 1st week of April and would like to fish the upper MO side. Anyone suggest a good place to stay? Also lookin for some tips. Normally fish on Stockton and would assume patterns would be similar. What area is the best this time? From powersite on down? Or would they be farther along? Thanks!
Members walleyerich Posted March 25, 2009 Members Posted March 25, 2009 I have heard that the spawn is starting to slow down on Norfork and Bull Shoals. I would think there would still be some spawners that first week of April. I think that males will not be quick to leave the area. I like to use suspending rogues for these fish. Cast out and reel in a couple of times and let the lure sit. I let it sit until I cannot stand it anymore. It seems like they will always hit on the pause.
