Members bhos Posted March 26, 2009 Members Posted March 26, 2009 Anyone know what the crappie are doing on the Niangua arm. I am planning to run dow there tomorrow but may change my mind if things aren't going good. From the latest report I've found dated 3/20: CRAPPIE – Tip: Some anglers are still finding big crappie with small jerkbaits then using jigs or minnows under a bobber to catch more fish. Bagnell Tailwater: Very good on minnows. Lower Osage: Very good on jigs 2 to 3-feet deep around brush. Glaize Arm: Good, try jigs or minnows 2 to 3-feet deep around brush. Mid-Lake: Good, try jigs 2 to 3-feet deep over brush. Niangua Arm: Very good, try jigs 2 to 3-feet deep around brush. Gravois Arm: Good, try jigs or small jerkbaits around brush 12 to 14-feet deep. Upper Osage: Poor, try chartreuse jigs over brush. Osage 60 MM: Excellent on jigs fished under a bobber 2-feet deep in windblown coves. Truman Tailwater: Good on white or chartreuse jigs or minnows.
