ohmz138 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Does anyone know if you can rent boats that have a tolling motor and battery already on the boat? If so, what are the prices? Any suggested lakes for catch and release bass fishing. Doesnt nessesarily have to be a catch and release lake. Thanks

mhall02 Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I don't think you can rent a battery and trolling motor, I always bring my own if I'm getting a boat. I think the rental is less then $5 a day, but it has been a few years. Lake 33 has noted as catching some nice bass, I ususally hit 28 or 31.
Members BKB Posted March 26, 2009 Members Posted March 26, 2009 I also don't believe that you can rent battery or motor. My recommended lakes for bass fishing in order are: 34, 38, 37, 28, 31
ohmz138 Posted March 27, 2009 Author Posted March 27, 2009 I was afraid of that. It would be nice to be able to pay maybe a few extra bucks for people that dont want to buy a troller and dont go out there that much. My dad and I run his River pro jet boat alot but you cant exactly take one of those out there. DARN! Thanks for the lake suggestions, i remember as a kid fishing out there and it was always good memories.

Thanks It does say on their website that they rent both boats and trolling motors, doesn't say anything about batteries though.
trizkid Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 you deff rent a trolling motor and battery from the office......i am almost positive TrIzzout
BredMan Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Last I was told they rented all, boats - trolling motor - battery. Although it's not cheap if I remember correctly. That's why most people bring their trolling motor and battery. For bass I have done best on 27-33-34-35-37 mostly early in the spring with plastics (4" worms - frogs - craws) in the shallow water weeds and along the banks. If you fish the bullrushes on these lakes from the banks be sure you use lots of tick repellent. Also keep in mind all the lakes at BWA get plenty of fishing pressure but still a good way to waste a day!
