Members Malarkey Posted March 28, 2009 Members Posted March 28, 2009 we are trying to plan a trip to float the buffalo, by the way we are not experienced floaters and have a 6 year old, and are trying to figure out what would be a good section of the river to float and if it would be possible to stay maybe in the Mtn Home area and drive to the river the morning of the float. I am hoping to make this trip serve double duty by maybe getting to fish on the north fork or the white the day before or the day after the float. The wife says that a small cabin or some place like lilly's would be just fine, as long as it has a pool to entertain the 6 yr old with the day I get to fish. I know there are many possible places listed on the internet, however I would like some recomendations from personal experience. If the drive from Mtn Home is to far could someone please give me some ideas of where to float and where to stay just anywhere along the river, we are willing to try any portion of the river that is not too advanced for our skill level. Thanks in advance for all your help, Chris
