Crappie Help

i'm gonna be fishing in a "for FUn" crappie tourny with some guys/friends from church on sat 4/4 ON STOCKTON . i guess were gonna launch around 9am or so at bona/cedar ridge i was thinkn about shootin up to maze creek. im vary fimiliar with stockton but i don't crappie fish much and when i do its at night. i really don't want to go farther than the state park and i will go to aldrich if i have to? just need some tips, hints/baits anything ect....

Minnows and tubes on a 1/16oz jig head should do the trick. I would go to aldridge myself and my guess would be they should be staging in 10 to 20 foot of water.Good luck. Let me know how you did.

Hey Vince have not heard from you in a while.Have you heard if they are going to have the Crappie Tourney this year? I have been catching most of my crappie in between Aldrich/High Point area on shiners with a bobber rig about 4ft from your shiner just look for any timber and use your finder we also did well using road runners Chart/Black have not had a short yet most around 11 1/2 inches.Going to State Park Sat. let you know how I did.
