Members aaronbaileynwa Posted April 13, 2009 Members Posted April 13, 2009 I hit the water about 8am. After motoring up to the 62 bridge, I drifted back down to Houseman several times. There was a great hole below the bridge and I caught several nice trout. The generation was heavy and my early morning success dried up as lunch drew closer. What a great day in the Ozarks! Anyone else have any luck Saturday? Pictures: http://picasaweb.google.com/aaronbailey1/B...ilwaters4112009
Members zackroe Posted April 14, 2009 Members Posted April 14, 2009 How have the water levels been, with all the rain lately? I haven't been there in about 6 months and have planned a trip to spider creek for the weekend. Is the water low enough to wade in spots. I am going regardless but would love to know what to expect before hand. thanks to anyone out there

Members aaronbaileynwa Posted April 14, 2009 Author Members Posted April 14, 2009 From what I can tell, they are running alot of water pretty much all day for the past few weeks. Once the flood pool returns to normal, it should calm down. I saw some waders at the Parker access, so it is still possible.
Zack Hoyt Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I agree with Aaron. They are pumping alot of water. With the rain we got over the weeeknd, I am afraid they will be pumping alot more. If they dont draw down Table Rock, the White will start to back up and slow fishing. I imagine they will be releasing all week and probably the weekend. Time to throw some heavy woolies.
