Members jesse Posted April 20, 2009 Members Posted April 20, 2009 went to bagnell yesterday afternoon just to do a little crappie and bluegill fishing,the crappie fishing didnt last long for me im more for the cat's but my women like's the little fish so we were on the rocky side right were the little cove is that everyone fish's from bank and there's carp on the top. i snagged 3 finally got 1 of the 3 in and he was ten pound's. anyway a guy was fishing there and no one was catching anything except him so i ask what he's using and he said a minnow about nine foot deep with a slip bobber,he was casting right on the current line most of the time and he had a stringer full of crappie and bass,i wish he would have thrown the bass back but whatever. ill be goin catfishing there in the next 3 day's so ill let you all know how it goes. i was there the day before to try and get bait,there was a couple guy's down there and they were netting a bunch of white bass and few shad but the shad they did get where pretty big.

Thanks for the report! Turn them in to the game warden if they are killing (keeping) bass out of the river right now. Streams are CLOSED for killing untill late May. Angler At Law
