River Flooded 4-20-09

[wacky worm]

the river was on the rise big time till the crest at about 6:00 pm at hog heaven

campground completely under water

fish were just getting ready to start biting and got all that rain/hail

speaking of hail

redfish and i were putting the bass boat in when the hail storm came and beat us up

we waited a half hour and went out there and caught 5 fish i was shocked

We were headed back from the TriLakes Fly Fishing Expo and caugh the hard rain a little south of Joplin. Followed all the way into Ark. Lots of swollen creeks. I figure the runoff will last a few days. With temps warming like they are supposed to this week, those smallies should be ready to feed.
