timsfly
Had a good day at upper capps creek, lots of sunfish, and 1 18" LM and 3 just a bit over 15" and tons of short bass, to many to count. Most came off of a grey and black cone head # 8 woolybugger. Two of the sunfish were a full 11" long, lots of 9" and a couple over 10" it was a great day to be on the water. creek wader
Sounds like a fun day. I like hearing of people catching fish other than trout, on a fly rod. Since I don't have much of an opportunity to fish for trout. I got a little free time today. I'm going for smallies today with my fly rod. I'll let you know how I do. .. wader wader

Nice bass, but to be honest I'm more impressed with those sunnies.
timsfly
Me to, I caught maybe 50 nice sunfish on wed, several in the 9" + range, lots of 8 inchers, but those 10 and 11 inchers were the best, I love the way they fight on a fly rod. Nice fish! When you say upper Capps do you mean above the dam and Mill? Are there any trout up there? I always thought the spring was at the park.
