Members ColeM. Posted April 23, 2009 Members Posted April 23, 2009 Worth a try? Dont attempt it, waste of time? Also, if any other kayak fisherman out there want to make a trip anywhere or know of any sleeper fishing spots, let me know!
OKFlyFisher44 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Might be decent where it enters the Arkansas as some sand-bass might run up it to spawn but I wouldn't hold my breath. Sections of Polecat run right through my area (just a few miles away) and its pretty much crap. Now, if you like setting bank poles or limb-lines for catfish...then its usually pretty decent... Might check it out....then let us know Chance ...I'm haunted in my dreams of waters I have yet to fish and trout I have yet to catch... Chasing the Dream...
Members FlyfishinOK Posted July 4, 2009 Members Posted July 4, 2009 I've put in behind the baseball field and floated down to the Arkansas...nothing. If you catch it when after a good rain in the spring you can catch sandbass right off Elwood under the turnpike bridge. There are some good catfishin opertunities if your into that.
