Members gobblergetter Posted May 6, 2009 Members Posted May 6, 2009 hey guys Iv got the day off and the yard is mowed turkeys dont seem to like me this year iv only been twice and its sucked both times. me and my fiance are gonna go fishing we just cant decide where. iv never fished mcdaniels but id give it a try if someone could kinda fill me in on it. i was thinkin fellows but i dont really wanna have to drag my boat up there. has anyone been catching anything around the bridge or the doc the marina lady said no but iv got to the point where i dont believe her cause everything she has ever told me has been wrong i dont know why i even call her any more if any of you could help id appreciate it. thanks in advance

I saw a guy next to me catch a 12 pound Flathead and I caught 2 smaller ones the other day. If I was going then I would use chicken livers or cast netting small bluegill. Both seem to be really productive... Anyways good luck! P.S. Make sure as soon as you feel the bite you tug because these catfish seem to be very timid.
