zsmith62 Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Was just searchin around on the internet the other day and came across this japanese form of fly fishing called "Tenkara". Apparently, its alot like normal fly fishing, but they dont use a reel. Has anyone seen this done before or ever tried it? It looks like it would be interesting... Heres the link: http://www.tenkarausa.com/index.php Zach Smith
Zack Hoyt Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Looks like you are basically tossing a long leader and tippet out there. Rods look similiar to the crappie rods. Interesting. Zack Hoyt OAF Contributor Flies, Lies, and Other Diversions
