Members jnorman Posted May 17, 2009 Members Posted May 17, 2009 Hey guys, Just wondering if anybody is having any luck. I saw that as of this morning they had the floodgates shut down. Last week when I was down, the gates were making it pretty tough to fish. It was also making it tough because the hybrids were sitting out in the floodgate current which is a ways out there and pretty tough to fish. Just wondering if the hybrids are moving back over to the generator side or if anybody is catching them period. I'm coming down again wednesday, just wanted to get a feel for how things are looking. Thanks. Jared P.S.- right now I'm sitting down at taneycomo trying to figure out trout fishing . The water is so high though it's making it pretty tough. Any tips? The best time to fish is when it's raining . . . and when it's not!
emjay Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 It was tough fishing yesterday after those gates closed. The crappie were biting well but there was ALOT of little ones. Lots of dink whitebass also jumping around. Saw alot of people using slabhunters (orange, chartreuse) crappies. Me and my buddy ended the day with 2 wipers, 6 whitebass and 10 (10"+) crappies.
