WOW I dont think Ive seen a night like that in a long time!!!

Dawgsquat and I hit the water agian about 10pm.... Just shut the water off...

We headed up to 1 and went through a few flies..

The top choice out of the gate was the Pine squirrel.....

probably hit over 20-25 within the first hour and that when it was it slowest.... well the fog started to move in....

I changed over to a PMS and just slayed them...

went for some coffee and found Centerpunch.... BS for a few minutes and took of to the Guanlet and was going to the big hole..

Just pass the big tree..... and they blow the horn (about 2am)...

we walk back up to outlet 1 and Jerod got into a few... we worked our way down to outlet 2 and headed out around 4am

WHAT A NIGHT!!

If I knew how to set a hook I'd have done much better.

It's always fun though.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye.

I am new to night fishing. You can wade in Taney at night? I thought you could only go out in a boat. I have never been down, but in 2 weeks I will be and I am trying to do some research on how to catch that big brown.... Ahha... or just fish in general. Thanks.

I am new also to Taney and checked out the website, but prior to heading down there I want to be sure once they turn the water off at I night I am taking it drops enough that it is wadeable, or are you still fishing outlets?

If they shut it off completely you can start wading around at 703 and when it gets down to 702 you can get anywhere that you can get in the daytime. Make sure when you are wading across the gravel bar, that is normally dry, going to big hole that the water is not moving because that means that they might have just shut it down to 1 unit.
