Striper Weekend

heading down for Saturday evening and Sunday -- likely will put in at Lost Bridge South -- Any reports for up in that area?

will be looking for topwater bite early and late and bait fishing in between.

I was down Memorial weekend fighting the rain. In a few hours fishing I could not locate any fish in the Lost Bridge South, Starkey, Honey Creek area. I did get a report that a buddy found them in mouth of Dry Creek Cove very early Monday. I believe this is just east (toward the dam) from Indian point campground. Said they were up but it was over by 7:00 AM. for what it is worth. Good Luck

Got into some Last night on top water right across from point 5 on the main lake. We have always called that Cedar Cove becuase of all the stick up in it, but do not know the name. Hit it this AM and nothing on top and only had two boils throwing topwater. Had three last night best being right at 12 and my 5 year old as net boy that I am sure had more fun than I did. Hope you get this before you go will probably be back tonight or Sunday night will be in a Blue Lowe Deck boat.

Dad got sick on Saturday so we werent able to go down --

had to settle for a mess of Crappie at Stockton on Sunday. :-)

If anyone has an extra spot in a boat any time, I would love to join. I have been itching to try a striper on a fly rod, but dont have the boat access or the knowledge of the lake. Don't want to come off as a mooch, so I could handle gas, beer, or whatever.

Did not do great this week had a couple Sunday, but no size and went out Wed. evening in the wind and did not get any thing but was also trying with fly rods. Zhoyt I usally have a full boat when I head out every one loves to try to catch these stripers on top. Next week I will be down at beaver for the full week, but have family down that wants to fish sorry.
