Members smbass43 Posted June 5, 2009 Members Posted June 5, 2009 Getting pretty excited about our annual trip to the eleven Point next week. It looks like the river is down below normal right now, is that true? Also, the forecast is not looking too great for us right now, so we are going to keep our fingers crossed. One question: how much rain would it take to make this river rise and make our canoe trip undesireable?
Brian Sloss Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 The river levels are in great shape from Cane Bluff on down. Thomasville to Cane Bluff is getting too low, but can be done if pulling through a few shoals is ok with you. There is only a 30% chance of rain on Mon and Tues. I'd say you are in fine shape in that regard. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
