Took my boys to Dry Run Creek last weekend. The Creek was fishing great as always and seemed to have more big fish than normal. There are several in there over 10 pounds. My 15 year old caught a 5 1/2 pounder (weighed on my boga grip) and the 11 year old caught one that weighed in at 10 1/2 pounds. Overall they caught about 80 fish in about 6 hours. The fish seemed to be hitting best on size 22 red and black zebra midges. It was an incredible day that they will not forget.

Seems like you guys had a good trip. I just took my 6 yr old daughter down there and she had a blast. She caught about 30 fish in 3 hours and had 3 big fish on. The problem she had with the big fish is she was not experienced enough in waders to follow the big fish downstream quickly. She was using 5x but it did not seem to help with the big ones. Great place and we are coming back soon for sure.

Thanks Mark. By the way, the fish were caught on RDP Flyrods. Your rods are great, the boys love them and so do I. As we discussed, we just got back from 8 days fishing in Colorado (dream stream, elevenmile canyon and fryingpan river) were we used your rods and they did a great job against those big wild trout. You and your kids need to join Hunter, Austin and me on the Dry Run Creek the next time we go down there.
