Whodat Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 This was the lamest tounament I have ever fished. It sucked dik and balls. Why waste your money on something like this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
binman Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I figured that there would be more than 3 boats but the same thing happened last year so I guess it is time to go back to Bass Fishing being as how I donate my money every time any way. It is a good strong bite right now you can catch some good crappie. Brandon Inman
adjust555 Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 Vince, Congrats on the win. Brad Thanks Brad. We only had 3 boats show up. Do not know if it was the 30 mph winds or the three big bass tourneys going on, Which I know atleast 1 buddy fished in. Thanks, Vince
shockley32 Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Vince, I'm sure you already know and have experienced the tournaments. Any time the weather is adverse - wind, rain, snow, cold front, etc... the crappie tournament fishermen just don't show. It's also been my experience that any other kind of tournament can have an adverse effect on the one you put on. Most guys who tournament fish will fish crappie, bass, walleye, etc.. They will always go where the biggest payout is. Generally far more bass tournament fishermen than crappie so that is where they go. Good luck with the next one. Hope to see you at the Friday night tournament in a couple of weeks. Brad Have your visited Limitville lately?
adjust555 Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 I am going to try to be there. Weather always does and I am learning about competing with other tourneys. It was the same thing last year. One week we would have 10 boats next 3. Vince
