Members streamer Posted June 16, 2009 Members Posted June 16, 2009 Time to sell my river boat. It's 18' long, 85" beam, 24"tall side Lowe with Johnson 88SPL on a custom built tandem axle aluminum trailer. The hull is a 1986 year model Lowe 1860, I wanted this year because of the flatbottom rear for shallower draft, all newer boats have a slight V. I purchased this boat and stripped it down to the bare hull to build the way I wanted. I purchased all aluminum flooring and treadplate decking, put in rod/gunlocker, console, seats and pedistals, 24 gal fuel tank under front deck, 40 Lb thrust Minn Kota, two 750GPH bilge pumps, and all lighting, wiring, batteries and compartments. The boat has a tuffcoat non-skid liner throughout interior in light grey, and on stepping surfaces of trailer. The boat hull is in a dark brown primer, "didn't want to have to wax it". The trailer is low to the ground so I could launch in shallow water. I set this boat up with the 24 gallon fuel tank under the front deck, and front mount trolling battery to even the weight distribution for an outboard jet. I never purchased a jetdrive, however the boat is balanced out for one. This also helps the front V displace water at slower speeds for a smoother ride. I use a 18 gallon roller cooler with areator as a livewell, which also comes with the boat. I did this to maximise floorspace when a livewell is not needed. The boat runs out at 40mph GPS with the current 3 blade stainless prop. I have over $6000 invested, so my loss is your gain. I am purchasing my Fathers Alumacraft 2072 since he has passed away, so this boat needs a new home. If you want to see the boat, need pics or have questions then send me a message, or call Jerrad at (417)-682-1617. A few pics can be seen on craigslist under Joplin, MO area listing. $4250 OBO
Members streamer Posted June 16, 2009 Author Members Posted June 16, 2009 I'll try to attach some pics here! Also, 3 fishing seats and pedistals come with the boat that are not shown in the pics.
Members streamer Posted June 19, 2009 Author Members Posted June 19, 2009 No one interested in this guy! Come on, I think this is a pretty good rig for a river boat! Lot of time invested in this guy making it the way I wanted it. Would make a good riverboat, or jetboat for someone.
Members streamer Posted June 19, 2009 Author Members Posted June 19, 2009 I also have a couple of cases of TC-W3 synthetic blend oil that I dont need for my fourstroke that can go with the boat, $200 value thrown in. If your looking for this setup for an outboardjet, I do have a Bob's hyd Flats Jack that might be negotiable with the boat. However, the jack plate is not for sale individually as purchased it for my 2072 tunnel boat. Make me an offer for a package deal!!
back2roots Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Interested....absolutely! An acceptable deal...yes!! Money right now for a boat.....nope sorry! If you liked the sound....Thank the engineer!
OzarkFishman Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Same here, if anyone has a rig ready for the water for $1,000 then I am in. OzarkFishman
