Members jesse Posted June 18, 2009 Members Posted June 18, 2009 anyone have an idea of how much that cat weighed, never got him in,had the camera with me and had a feeling he'd get off,no dipnet and only 12 pound mono so i fought him for atleast an hour. all the spoon's were put back. the drum and the bass were caught by my women. there's a couple bass i was almost sure that were largemouth's but the jaw didnt extend past the eye. biggest hybrid i've caught at the dam,i think it's a hybrid..could someone let me know for sure about the all the bass. the drum was caught on a bass lure, just to let you know and before anyone say's something about the stinger on the spoonbill i had it on there and put in the water until everyone got to the campground to see it so i could take pic's and release as quick as possible. had to put the pic of the turtle stretching it's leg on here.
ozarkgunner Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Nice pics! Remember the bass have to be released in the rivers before Memorial Day. I don't know if that's what you meant when you said the spoons were released or not. I just want to make sure you don't get in trouble next spring. Tight Lines. Angler At Law

That's GREAT to hear about the black bass! They sure are a LOT more fun to catch than eat! Now catfish, whites, and crappie are perfect to release into a pot of oil! I haven't been down there, but I hear very good things about the creek. I am going to try my best to get down this week some time. Angler At Law
