Members fishinforhim Posted June 19, 2009 Members Posted June 19, 2009 i am from the van buren area and i fish frog bayou,mulberry river, and lee creekduring the summer just wondering if anyone else fishes these waters try to fish lee creek at least once a month done ok no big smallies but alot of 3+ lbs. large mouth cant wait till i get to go from natural dam to the bridge in ok it looks like a 3 day trip hopefully its so long no one does it and I find some dumb fish where do you fish lee creek and are there any pull outs had 2 days where I caught 20 plus fish in less than 4 hours and 2 days with none but usually about 10 or 15 been looking for help with lee creek any input would be great thanks max

I've done pretty well for smallies, with quite a few walleye and sunnies mixed in........... Nice place to fish.
Members blue Posted June 20, 2009 Author Members Posted June 20, 2009 i fish mostlyaround the nat dam area i have caught a bunch of fish in that area if u go up 220east they r 3 put ins 1at siver bridge 1at canoe access 1at fordrd off of leecreek rd u can do alot of wade fishing east of nat dam west has alot of deep holes i put in at indapendens rd most of the time and float 2oe 3 holes and then come back i have floated from nat dam 2ok bridge it took me 3 1/2 days i was in no hurry all private land that sectoin watch where u camp

Ive looked at it on google earth looks like some sides got pasture and some are heavy forest so if i camp one the banks of forest I should be ok. so how was the fishin thanks for all the great info Max
