G-ROD Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 I went alone this trip, had to nobody else could make it. Started out shortly after midnite down by the dam. 3 short fish and not many bites. Still seems that after dark the fishing is slow at best. Still no brushpile bites at night..My temp guage read 83, up several degrees from the past weekend.Right at first light I fished a brushpile in about 10' of water. I hooked a big fish on a jig, but lost it. Never got to see it. For the next 2 hrs, I landed 3 other shorts and that was it. Once the sun popped over the trees, it was over. Lots of debris floating.. The Bagnell Dam lake report again said heavy generation. BUT, I went down below the dam and there was NOT hardly any water running thru.... -------------------- Mo Smallmouth Hunter Gary
