A few weeks ago when we were catchin Bluegill on worms around the rock bluffs we caught several 5 lb cats. All Channel Cats.

Amp is correct- I just bought my tag from the marina last month and I had some catfishing gear in the boat. The guy at the marina made sure to tell me that NO TROT LINES/ JUG LINES are allowed. Fellows is a LINE AND POLE ONLY lake.

those channel were prolly males protecting the nest.. caught several myself... they are just about done doin that on the smaller lakes , like fellows. It was funny watchin em chase the perch away and they were all sittin right on the shoreline where u could see em.

They tasted real good too. Real pretty fish. Even the bluegill we caught were larger than my hands. Got nice filets off them.
