Members SWMOkirtley Posted June 19, 2009 Members Posted June 19, 2009 Are you allowed to leave jug lines in Fellows for say, Flatheads or channels? If so, has anybody done it and had any sort of luck?
Ämp Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 pretty sure its just a pole and line lake like springfield lake. .
Predator1 Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 A few weeks ago when we were catchin Bluegill on worms around the rock bluffs we caught several 5 lb cats. All Channel Cats.
et84 Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Amp is correct- I just bought my tag from the marina last month and I had some catfishing gear in the boat. The guy at the marina made sure to tell me that NO TROT LINES/ JUG LINES are allowed. Fellows is a LINE AND POLE ONLY lake. Members shadman Posted June 22, 2009 Members Posted June 22, 2009 Did you use the bluegill live, or as cut bait? those channel were prolly males protecting the nest.. caught several myself... they are just about done doin that on the smaller lakes , like fellows. It was funny watchin em chase the perch away and they were all sittin right on the shoreline where u could see em.
Predator1 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 They tasted real good too. Real pretty fish. Even the bluegill we caught were larger than my hands. Got nice filets off them.
