Members bhos Posted June 20, 2009 Members Posted June 20, 2009 Fished lake 16 this morning at 6:45 for an hour or so, one bite, no fish. Fished lake 31 at about 4pm and caught 8 dinky bass and 2 big bluegill on a 5" chart/watermelon senko, wacky and texas weightless rigged. One bass might have broken 2 pounds but doubt it. All were caught on the northwest side from the weed beds. Fished lake 32 a little after 5pm for 15 minutes, 1 bass at 3.4 lbs, caught off the east side, same rig.
Bman Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Thanks for the report. That last Bass made it all worthwhile. The only good line is a tight line
stlfisher Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I realize this is a really old post, but lake 16 has a ton of small bass in it. I fish it often with a 6 weight and bugger. Lot's of fun catching small bass and there are some giant Bluegill in that lake. If they aren't biting at that lake they just aren't biting at all.
Members JBlab0719 Posted July 13, 2010 Members Posted July 13, 2010 I recently fished 31 for the 1st time, very nice lake, and caught a few small bass off of the first little finger when you enter the lake. I was using mann's 8" worms rigged Texas style.
