My parents and I are from that area. All my kin folk as well. The Pacific Northwest is where my love of the outdoors and fishing all started.

And no, I don’t think those guys fish from those boats much. What they are doing is so much on the edge. Think of what could happen if the motor quits, even for a second or two. Check out some of the 8 ft hydraulic drops. Drop the nose into a hydraulic and take on water and its big trouble. Let alone the back end getting caught in the down flow over the ledge and filling the back end in as well. I noticed the one shot where they were coming down; they were doing so with more than idle throttle.

Oh ya...I have a jet boat :D

But I don't run water quite like that ;)

The only good line is a tight line
