adjust555 Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Want to give a special thanks to our sponsors Central Dodge and Lakeys Bait Shop, and all of you that fished our tourney. It is starting to grow, there were a few new faces. Next tourney is July 11th, at Stockton State Park Marina from 8pm to 2am. hope to see you all there. Any questions call 267-441-9788. Thanks, Vince Maguire. RESULTS: 1st PLACE: Jay Crain & Doug Gregory 6 Fish Total Weight: 4.62 LBS 2nd PLACE: Vince Maguire & Brad Murdock 3 Fish Total Weight: 1.90 LBS BIG FISH went to: Jay Crain & Doug Gregory Weiht:1.18 LBS Thanks again and hope to see you next time. Lots of fish caught were caught from 12 ft to 35 ft of water. The hard part was finding quality fish. My partner and I alone caught over 60 Crappie but could not find any size. That is exactly what happened last year so next tourney if it continues to follow suit should be some great fishing.
bigredbirdfan Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 So I see the same kinda post on all of your tournaments. I might add a suggestion to your cause. Why don't you tell people who might not consider fishing your tournament how you guys catch 60 fish. Some people might just see how easy you guys make it out to be and decide they have a chance to win. 12-35 feet of water is very vague. Would also be nice to tell them how much money you pay out. Just suggestions. Don't mean to ruffle any feathers.

As far as how and where we caught them, any where we went 12 ft 20 ft 35 ft we caught fish. The problem was they were mostly shorts. We used minnows and tubes it did not matter and because we wanted bigger fish we moved more than we would have and had same result anywhere we went. It was just one of those nights. Lots of fun. With our tourney and a 7 fish limit to weigh in anyone can win.Any other questions please let me know. I hope this helped. Thanks, Vince Maguire
