6-23-09 Fishing Report And Huge Storm Cloud

[wacky worm]

we left the heaven around 6:15 last night

john was fishing a wacky worm with a curly tail

i was fishing a watermelon green gold glitter spiked wacky worm

he was catching only small mouth

i was catching only large mouth?

any way we caught a bunch

i would say at least 40 were caught

later cal and i switched to chug bugs

cal caught 4 or 5

i hooked at least 5

one was mr big

but he got off when i tried to turn my camera on

also it must have been a heck of a storm to the east

It poured at Pea Ridge for about 30 minutes. Was great because it dropped the temp about 20 degrees. If you a believer in the lateral line stuff with fish, these types of storms really get them in feeding mode. Looking forward to getting up there this weeknd at some time.

That pic with the cloud in the backgound and the canoes on the stream is a SWEET pic! That thing would be up on my wall- Thanks for the pics.. last night we got hit by 60 MPH winds and lightning like crazy..

I swear I read a post on this board, not sure where- but some guy was talking about finally being able to buy his dream property on the Elk...I remember he wasn't living there right now but would be soon.

Putting in a campground huh- that should be interesting for you guys. I want to make it down, but it's going to need to be during the week probably some time in July. I can't believe I'm married either dude- darn.......

I hope you guys are doing great, seems like the fish are still tearing it up man!!!
