Well, after getting back from Mexico late Thursday night, I spent Friday getting unpacked and the house back in order. Picked up the dogs from the kennel and all that stuff. Then, Saturday started mowing the lawn. THEN started feeling bad, so took a nap... THEN woke up with nausea and a headache, so went back to bed... THEN Sunday morning went to Urgent Care...

No... Not the H1N1 flu... or swine flu... Just a "bug" of some sort... So, I've been out of pocket since then. Now back to work and feeling much better.

Anyway... The trip...

GREAT time! My only real beef is the fishing sucked. No bill fish at all and only a few Trigger and Groupers on the bottom. I did wrangle with a big bottom fish... maybe a big Tuna for a few minutes, but he got off. Still a good fishing trip... Just not a "catching" trip.

I only took 776 images while there. You can see them at THIS WEBSITE if you are interested.

Phil... I think you and Bill need a lodge in Playa de Carman and I'll manage it... LOL

TIGHT LINES, YA'LL

Ah... Playa Del Carmen! Ain't the same now. Was there in '92. Took the ferry to Cozumel. It was our honeymoon. Snorkled and motorcycled the whole island. Senior' Frogs or Carlos and Charlies anyone? ;)

Bring a normal bass rod (or 6 weight fly rod) next time you go south to saltwater fish. When it gets tough, the jacks..., etc. can save the day on light rods!
