While I've never been to this area before, I would like to make a trip down there before the summer is over but for one, I don't want to be targeting trouts but rather the stripers/hybrids/white bass that roam in this river. I know that many tend to keep the down low in this area but if someone could point me in the right direction, that would be a good start. From what I have read, when they are generating, stripers tend to be more active but where would be my best bet from shore? The dam? I also have some trout swimbaits that might come handy since they stock trout there regularly. Thanks.
