Stockton Lake Guide Service Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Results for Thursday evening 06/25/2009 We had 15 boats of which 13 caught fish. Total we caught 39 fish. Not bad for a 3 hour tournament. Everyone needs to remember that the hot weather is here. The surface temp was 87 on Thursday. Water at that temp can’t absorb O2, so we must be cooling the water and using the recirculate pumps. We had several fish that didn’t look good and I didn’t see anyone that brought up fish where the water was treated with rejuvenate or another product. Also, I don’t recall feeling any water that had been cooled. Everyone needs to bring an extra bag of ice to cool the fish. Cold water will hold more O2. If you have a well at your house, fill up your tanks before you come to the lake. Remember, we don’t count dead fish on Thursday evenings, so do everything you can to keep your fish alive. We have the best bass lake in this state, let’s all keep it that way. Thanks!!!!! See everyone this Thursday at 6 pm. It’s open to everyone that wants to fish. 1st Place Carter/Ayres 5 fish 13.98 lbs 2nd Place McManis/Timmons 5 fish 12.74 lbs 3rd Place Debow/Ruggles 5 fish 11.40 lbs Big Bass Carter/Ayres 4.24 lbs 2nd Big Bass McManis/Timmons 3.95 lbs Bob Bennett Stockton Lake Guide Servicehttp://fishstocktonlake.com 417-637-BASS"Our Service is Crappie" ”And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time that this people preserve the spirit of resistance?
