Brian Sloss Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Took a guide trip yesterday with a couple of novice fly fishermen from West Plains, Joe and son Tye, and they did pretty darn well. Both caught a good number of fish with Joe landing a beautifully colored 17 incher. Stoneflies were the order of the day with squirrel nymphs, eggs and San Jauns also accounting for a few fish. If we were not hooking the bottom now and then, we were not deep enough. By the end of the day, both were handling a two fly rig and catching fish. The last hour and a half the fishing slowed as the sun got the hottest. Two great guys to spend the day with and a good time was had by all. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
