Striped Bass Unlimited, Tulsa Chapter

Gentlemen,

My name is Scott Whitman and I live in Tulsa along the river. I am an avid fly fisherman and enjoy chasing striper along the Arkansas. I recently met with the Oklahoma Wildlife dept. and am very concerned about the future of the striper fishery. I have determined that unless we unite to address our concerns regarding the future dams to be constructed, they will surly damage the trophy striper fishery we curently enjoy.

I have contacted Striped Bass Unlimited and am in the process of starting a Tulsa Chapter. Additionaly, I am a casting instructor through FFF and plan to contact them for support as well.

I have copies of the reports that are to be issued by the engineering firm hired to reseach the environmental impact. I would like to distribute copies so that we can begin to identify any concerns we would like to address. Again if any one is interested contact me so we can set up a meeting.
