Clay Goforth Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 So I am taking a kid fishing on Tuesday and he wants to go bass fishing. I don't really wanna drive all the way to beaver to catch a couple 12 inchers so I was wondering if anyone had recently fished either Lake Fort Smith, Bob Kidd, or Swepco and was willing to divulge their productivity. I know this is not exactly prime Swepco time, but the fish in there have to eat still. I had good luck on Lake Fort Smith but that was in the spring. And I haven't fished Bob Kidd in a couple of years so don't have any clue what is going on out there. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Lake Ft.Smith is much better for numbers, SWEPCO for size, and Bob Kidd neither. IMAO, Bob Kidd is the most pressured lake per acre than any lake I've fished in my life.
Zack Hoyt Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 SWEPCO hasnt been producing very well in the last few years. I would imagine it would be rather warm with the heat coming off of it. That being said, the best luck for me has been the shore line directly across from the ramp or back by the trails in the brush. Zack Hoyt OAF Contributor Flies, Lies, and Other Diversions
