Andy & JoAnne Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 What a long drive with three kiddos. They were actually very well behaved. We had a wonderful trip and it was my pleasure to meet Charles, a.k.a. TrophyFishr and Cindy. They put together a nice package of fishing tackle together and gave it to us. Let me tell you, his homemade jigs absolutely slaughtered the smallies. No pics though, the daughter had the only working camera on the trip and she wasnt with me...dang it. Oh well, what a great time. Here are a few pics of the trip. Started at Yellowstone then through the Tetons and onto Dallas (family there) Finally the property at Crooked Creek with an ominous looking visitor (Not you Charles, the snake) Onto Silver Dollar City Then Mount Rushmore The Bad Lands were next on the agenda with an AWSOME Sunset. I just point n shoot but wish I could have captured it better. I think its the law that you have to have at least one mishap with the car on a long road trip. I obliged. Be Back Next Year
Danoinark Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Looks like a great tip Andy. Thanks for sharing. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Guest Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Its really awesome to meet cool people from a fishing website. This trip wouldn't have been possible without ozarkanglers. Andy and his family were lots of fun. I can tell they are anxious to move down to Crooked Creek. Thanks for inviting Cindy and myself, we appreciate it very much. Its my pleasure to provide custom tackle. Let me know which baits performed best for you, and I will send you extra. Thanks again
Andy & JoAnne Posted August 4, 2009 Author Posted August 4, 2009 It was definitely the jig n craw combo. I couldnt keep em off. I actually got hung up on the huge stump upstream from the property, waded out to retrieve my precious jig, threw it back in and caught one on the next cast even though I disturbed their waters. Charles, Did Cindy get all 3$ from you?

Charles, Did Cindy get all 3$ from you? Yep, she took my $3! I'm going to take her finesse worms back. She's good, and a good fit for me.
