Golden Eagle/ Dardenne Slough

Not anything special but figured I would try to start the forum off...... Fished for the last couple of hours out on the main channel and some spots in Dardenne Slough up to the G.E. Ferry. Hit mainly riprap banks and wingdikes for white bass. Caught several throwing white grubs and black/chrome rebel crankbaits. If you can find wingdikes on the main river, especially L-shaped dikes with water passing thru the middle, you'll find fish. Several small ones but also some nicer sized fish. Watch out for the danged jumpin carp though. We caught fish on both the outside of the dikes and on the inside where the current goes through.
