Danoinark Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 My friend Bob White of http://www.whitefishstudio.com/ and who is a contributor of short stories on OAF sends word that long time Field and Stream contributing editor Bill Tapply has passed away. Some of you may know him as the writer of the Brady Coyne mystery series. RIP Bill. Greg Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Dano thanks for posting this. I had not heard. I'm very sad. Bill Tappley was probably my favorite author period. Loved his fiction AND non fiction stuff. A big loss to us all. RSBreth Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Yeah, I saw this and posted something about it at my site, then get an email from someone asking who he was. So I edited my post to say if you don't know who Bill Tapply was you need your outdoor Man-card revoked.
