Members redhead Posted August 9, 2009 Members Posted August 9, 2009 $46 per sq ft. Now $199,900! You have got to see this amazing place on the banks of the Osage River located in Tuscumbia, Missouri. Reduced $150,000 from orginal price. Thousands below November 6th, 2007 certified appraisal. Health issue forces sale of my dream place. I have for sale four charming Osage River front cottages/cabins. Each has been totally remodeled with NO EXPENSES spared. One cabin was an Old Post Office, one was an Old Barber Shop, one is an Old fisherman's lodge (with it's own ICE HOUSE built into the bluff behind) one is new that I built for my business (now it is a charming cottage with its own clawfoot tub.) Neat Place! This area is called OLD TOWN Tuscumbia where the steamboats stopped along with a ferryboat landing (1930's). Simply an amazing place. A step back in time reveals the thriving riverboat town and the wonders of life on the Osage. I have brought it back to the way it was. There are many mature trees, professional landscaping, sidewalks, bluffs, a cave, some desert landscaping for those who do not like cutting grass. A true showplace. This would make a perfect Bed and Breakfast, campground, RV Park, rental property or simply a beautiful retreat away from the hussle and bussle of the city. This property is located 15 minutes from the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. Close to golfing, shopping and fine dining. You fishermen must note that the Osage River is famous for the best fishing around and there is a boat ramp across the street. Bagnell darn is located upstream a few miles by boat and 15 minutes by land. Great fishing, floating, canoeing and just playing on the Osage River. The eagles live here year round! Watch their babies grow up!! Neat!! Beautiful views from these cabins. Simply a wonderful place to call home! Live in one like me and rent the others for income. I use the other cabins as guest houses and live in one. You guys that like to hunt and would like have a hunt club..there is a 4200 acre Missouri Conservation hunting reserve located 3 miles from here. The garage is like no other garage. Three car with kitchen/bar perfect for relaxing after a long day on the river...gotta see this garage!! I have some links where you can see more pictures: http://www.lakeareavirtualtours.com/tours/...ly'scabins/ or go to: http://www.HomesbyOwner.com/93588 In the virtual tour remember the price is reduced $150,000 from when it was made!! There is also a huge piece of property that adjoins along with its own well and septic and huge buildable foundation for $55,000. Larry Richards Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 That is an amazeing deal. Lots of potential for the right buyer. Would you be leaving the are up there? I have a house on lake norfork and was thinking about some income property in the future. Can't get loans with the economy the way it is right now. Even people with excellent credit have a hard time qualifying for loans. ]

Would you be leaving the are up there? I have a house on lake norfork and was thinking about some income property in the future. Can't get loans with the economy the way it is right now. Even people with excellent credit have a hard time qualifying for loans. ] Hi Larry: Thanks for looking at " Beverly's Cabins" my 4 Osage Riverfront cottages. As far as me moving..... My Sister and I have an Osage River bottom farm located down river from here (about 14 miles) so I will probally move there to help take care of it. I have even thought about helping the new owner set up the new business if need be. Do not really want to but could possible do that for someone out of state. I do want the new owner to be happy with the purchase and if my help is needed I will stay for a while to help with that. Yes times are difficult right now. However, I do have a local Bank that knows the property well and does have the funds in place for a loan to someone with excellent credit and a nice down payment and a good "JOB". This would make an excellenct rental property or Bed and Breakfast/floating/fishing lodge type place. I live here and use them for my kids and grand kids and me. I already have rental property at Lake of the Ozarks and do not want to rent them out personally. I am kind of a neat freak and keep them perfect and my kids sometimes use them as week-end places. If you get a chance drive up and take a look....you will not be disappointed. Where is Lake Norfork? Hey if you look at the virtual tour notice the $150,000 price drop.....a shame.....my loss....someones gain. $199,900 Bev P 573-369-2339 redhead101551@hotmail.com http://www.lakeareavirtualtours.com/tours/...ly'scabins/
