Ämp Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 best day I have ever spent at fellows . nothing huge but , 20 or so 1-2 lb LM bass all on topwater baits.. around 10 whites first thing in the morning on topwater baits, and once again a ky that would have went 3lbs.. 2 LM's on tube baits ... and 1 more on a weedless frog. Look for long flats with live weeds or grass , prismatic or bright colors when the sun is out , darker more natural baits when the clouds roll in.. slow your retrieve down and take time to fish it close, change colors accordingly or you will miss 10 more before you realize why. the following math is what i have deducted from fellows... chrome spook+ clouds/missed fish = angry Ämp .
emjay Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Are you on a boat or on the bank? You been posting some nice reports from fellows.
emjay Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 what area are you fishing at? since you've been posting nice reports i might go out and try. usually fellows lake is always slow and boring but maybe thats because i'm fishing from the shore. fellows doesnt seem to have alot of access points for bank fisherman.
